Good bye Summer, Hello Fall!

Last weekend we spent our time switching seasons....We spent Saturday at the zoo (which to me is a Summer activity) and then on Sunday we went to Papa's Pumpkin Patch. We did both activities with Grandma Barb, Grandpa Dave, Uncle Larry, Aunt Dinah (greats to the girls), my cousin Lezlie, her husband Fred & their little boy Ben.

Gretta spent Saturday being pushed around the zoo by grandpa, which she thoroughly enjoyed.



Mari & Ben were excited to see every animal!

Papa's Pumpkin Patch is amazing! They have hay rides, pony rides,train rides, food, mazes & acres of pumpkins!

It was also our 5th wedding anniversary!!

Lil' Dancer

Mari has had many new adventures this fall, the newest of which is starting dance class. Mari has Creative Movement every Tuesday morning for 30minutes. She seems to love it. There are 2 other little girls in her class. All the little girls are dressed like ballernias & are so excited to be there.

Grandma Sandy was in town the day of her first dance class so the 3 of us (me, Sandy & Gretta) watched with much excitement as Mari danced her little heart out.

1st Day of Preschool

I just returned home from dropping Mari off at Little Lambs Christian Preschool. We were all so excited for this day! Mari hung up her backpack and sat right now on the floor & started playing. She looked up and said "Good-bye Mom" and so that was my que to leave. So I took a few more pics of her playing with her classmates and left. I cried a little on the way to the car, just a few happy/sad tears.

None of the other parents were taking pictures of their kids. I thought that was weird. I probably looked like a complete loon! oh well. :)
